Addressing the “NCAT” In The Room

Dearest $NCAT Community-

Wow. What a few days it has been. As we launched and commented on building our way out of this galaxy and into another stratosphere, we had no idea the overwhelming support would be so quick. We’ve achieved so much in such a short amount of time. Even today we added BLOCKFOLIO and continue to work on moving into the next phases of the $NCAT experience.

Needless to say, it has been an unbelievable 3 days. Absolutely unbelievable.

However, we also think it is best to address an issue that arose today involving us and just let you know where things stand. As you know, imagery and wording in previous posts contained the word NYAN and the image of that cute little poptart cat everywhere. The perfect meme-able creation to draw eyes. But, you know what we found out over the last couple of days…Nyan is copyrighted. Who knew!?! Well we found that out today..

Anyway, the truth is simple…we respect Chris a lot. We obviously love his IP and we just didn’t know that it was completely his. So with that said, we’ve done a couple of things, the first is a “soft rebrand” to $NCAT that has occurred and is continuing to occur and will strive to be memeable, fun-loving, and still strap a rocket on your back and send you to the heavens. Any of Chris’ property we are happy to take off and continue on our journey.

Secondly, we’ve reached out to Chris and can hopefully just start a dialogue. As we told him, we the team have burnt our tokens and aren’t profiting off of this at all, and instead are just having a really fun time building an awesome community. We are continuously working on updating the website, getting the DAO started and will be creating unique NFTs for the community to have a good time with.

We want to publicly apologize to Chris and hope we can have an amazing private conversation in the future about the future of $NCAT.

Anyway, we just wanted to throw all of that out there and we can’t wait to continue this ride up to the heavens.
